Lake St. Clair DNR Launch Ramps Open | Closed

October 4, 2020 – Update for fishermen & duck hunters on Lake St. Clair looking for DNR Launch Ramps open / closed.  As of today, the Snooks Hwy. launch on Harsen’s Island is still underwater and the Deckers Landing launch with North Channel access is still closed.

Snooks Ramp Lake St. Clair Underwater

Alternate DNR Launch Ramps open on Lake St. Clair for those areas would be the Algonac public launch across from Kroger on M29 – or, for a $10 fee you may launch at Decker’s Marina / Restaurant which is 1/8 mile before the underwater “public” Deckers DNR ramp off Anchor Bay Drive.  Fair Haven DNR ramp stays open until ice starts.

Good news, we are finally seeing some “dirt” ground in the Deckers DNR ramp however the docks have been pulled for the last two seasons.  There is still NO parking available there due to water yet and NO PLACE to turn around.
