Revised Bass Season Law for Catch & Release on Lake St. Clair

Effective immediately, the Michigan DNR has announced a revised bass season law that anglers may now “catch and release” bass in Michigan waters year round!  Catch & keep has not changed, and remains the 3rd Saturday in June.

As a reminder, the Canadian waters of Lake St. Clair do not allow catch & release at any time.  Bass season opens the 3rd Saturday in June for Canadian fishing on Lake St. Clair.
